HOW IT WORKS
The harvesting and collection of rainwater from your roof is a relatively simply process incorporating RainPacTM rainwater solutions, either in a bladder or bolted panel tank format, a high quality pressure pump system.
There are many areas tank water can be used:
• Lawn watering;
• Garden watering;
|
• Car and boar washing;
• Toilet and cold water laundry use.
|
Furthermore, whist we do not recommend using rainwater, especially untreated, for drinking purposes, our selected FT300 fabric, which is exclusively used by FTA within Australia, meets all standards relative to AS 4020 for materials in contact with drinking water. This therefore means you have piece of mind when considering using RainPacTM rainwater bladder tanks when filling swimming pools and fish ponds.
As rigid tanks have been available on the market for quite some time, we will not go through the installation process here – speak with your licensed plumber. Regarding RainPacTM rainwater bladder tanks, in its purest form, installation works on the following premise:
- A RainPacTM rainwater bladder tank is installed under housing, decking, or basically any structure with enough clearance (somewhere between 400 – 715 mm depending on the width of the bladder tank) and is linked to a 90mm mani fold pipe at the front of the tank via our unique underground 100mm inlet system;
- The mani fold irrigation line in front of the bladder is then connected to as many downpipes around the home as possible, meaning far greater amounts of rainwater are collected than traditional tank options;
- Depending on your water usage requirements, a pressure pump is then attached to one of the outlets on the bladder so the water can be transferred and used as per your requirements.

The advantages of RainPacTM rainwater bladder tanks are many:
• As every downpipe can be connected, more water is collected from every downpour;
• All bladders are shipped in sausage style carton, meaning access via small entrances etc is not a problem;
• Freight charges are no longer an issue as all tanks fold down to approx 1/10th of their inflated size;
• RainPacTM rainwater bladder tanks have the largest inlet on the market meaning you capture MORE water EVERY time it rains; |
• 100% Australian made and owned, providing unrivalled after sales service;
• Proven design techniques from a manufacturer with over 20 years company history. FTA makes over 100 different products every day of the year, incorporating experience that is invaluable in bladder tank fabrication;
